Can Magnatech fix my windshield faster if I watch them?

Hey folks! This is Jake from Magnatech Auto Glass.
Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
"Can Magnatech fix my windshield faster if I watch them?"
Answer:
Generally, I’m going to take a lot more time to fix it if you’re watching me like a fishbowl. Any technician out there will agree. It’s definitely going to take a little bit more time, and I’ll probably charge you more if you’re watching me through that bay door.
The honest point is: technicians work best when they can focus. When someone is hovering, it adds pressure, distraction, and slows the process down because you’re being observed the whole time and often answering questions or feeling rushed. So if your goal is speed and quality, the best thing you can do is let the technician work without a front-row audience. You’ll still get the same professional outcome—just faster and smoother when the tech can concentrate.
Summary:
Watching a technician closely can slow the repair down. Magnatech notes that being observed “like a fishbowl” adds distraction and can increase time (and potentially cost), so it’s better to give the technician space to work.
