Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
Okay, this one surprises a lot of people. Most folks are used to being told they’ve got to wait one or two hours after getting a new windshield before they can drive. That’s standard for a lot of shops because they’re using regular old urethane that takes time to cure. But not us.
At Magnatech Autoglass, we only use the best stuff—Mach 30, which is one of the fastest-curing polyurethanes on the market. The “30” in the name? That means it’s fully drive-ready in just 30 minutes from the time the glass hits the glue. So when we’re replacing your windshield, the clock starts the second we lay that new glass down.
Now, by the time we put the windshield in, reinstall your wipers, clean up everything, and bring your car around to the front, you’re already about 20 minutes into that curing time. Then we check you out, maybe take payment, go over anything else you need to know—and by the time I’m handing you your keys, you’re basically ready to roll. No waiting around the parking lot, no grabbing coffee to kill an hour—your car is good to go right then and there.
This is a huge convenience factor for our customers, and it’s one of the reasons people love coming to us. We don’t cheap out on materials, and we’re constantly investing in the highest-quality products to make sure you’re getting fast, safe service. So unless you want to hang out and chat, you’re on the road 30 minutes after we start. Pretty slick, right?
With Magnatech Autoglass, you only have to wait 30 minutes to drive after a windshield replacement, thanks to Mach 30—one of the fastest-curing polyurethanes on the market. Most shops require 1–2 hours. We get you back on the road quickly and safely with top-tier materials and expert installation.
